As I write this devotion, it is my fervent prayer that you will stay with God and trust Him for the rest of your life. Never give up on God. He has the power to bless you in ways you may not be able to comprehend. The songwriter wrote, “He may not come when you call Him, but He will come on time.” God’s time is not our time; therefore, we cannot give up thinking He will not come to our aid. Times may be tough and the going rough, but, stay with God. Do not miss God’s blessings because you cannot wait. Be assured that God will step-in right-on time and give you what you need. Galatians 6:9 speaks to this:

 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

These words jump off the page! Paul writes about not giving up. He writes these words of assurance that we shall reap if we faint not. Paul had expectations of eternal blessings, knowing that a harvest of blessings awaited those who did not become weary. He was confident that the people could rely on God. He knew the Lord of the harvest would send forth blessings and calls upon the people to do good. He particularly emphasizes the household of faith. As I conclude, never give up on God and never give up on God’s people. God has a way of turning things around. God changed the lives of some we gave up on. God never gave up on them and in many cases, they never gave up on God. Stay with God!
