Life is a gift; therefore, we cannot afford to waste one day. We do not know what tomorrow holds, so we need to live each day to its fullest. Live, love, laugh, and enjoy God’s blessings! Do not put off to tomorrow what you can do today, because tomorrow is not promised to you. Wisdom teaches us that our days are numbered. Express your love to someone today. Tell them how much you really love them and let them know it now! Find a way each day to help somebody, love somebody, share with somebody, or give to somebody. In Psalm 90:12, we find these words:

“Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom.”

The psalmist begins this passage of scripture by giving God praise, saying, “Lord, through all generations you have been our home! Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the world, from beginning to end, you are God.” The psalmist goes on to say, “Seventy years are given to us! Some even live to eighty. But even the best years are filled with pain and trouble; soon they disappear, and we fly away.”  The psalmist makes it clear that we must move forward every day in order that we may grow in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. When you get a chance, read this entire chapter. May the Lord, our God, continue to shine His favor upon each and every one of us and bless us to continue to move forward!
