On my daily desk calendar titled, ‘Constant Conversation and Inspiring Collection of Words of Inspiration” are the words, “One of the greatest things of our gratitude is that when you thank God by faith you begin to really discover what you thanked Him for.” Our prayers should express our gratitude about His goodness. The same day these words appeared on the calendar was the same day we thanked God on the Church Without Walls prayer line. One hundred callers offered prayers to simply say, “Thank You!” I had tears running down my face as each caller expressed what God had done for them, and I marveled at His blessings. What a Mighty God we serve! I encourage you to take time today to say, “Thank you, God!” You may find yourself in awe when you look back and see His many blessings. In John 5:26, we find these words:

“The Father has life in Himself, and He has granted that same life-giving power to His Son.”

In delegating authority to the Son, the Father allowed Him to give life to whomever He wanted. When we call on the name of the Son, we connect to the Father and His power. Through this power, we are given the opportunity to do greater works. That’s marvelous! Thank Him for His divine power and marvel at His many blessings!
