In today’s devotion, I want to focus upon the Love Chapter. For love is one of the greatest gifts God has given to us. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosover believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” God’s love is amazing. God wants us to give to others the same love that He has given to us. Love covers a multitude of sins. Love is sacrificial. Take a moment today to think of God’s love and think of the love that you have received from family and friends who have loved you through difficult times. There were those who loved you when you were not lovable. Love bears all things. The scripture reference today is I Corinthians 13:7 and reads in this manner:

“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”

In this deep and profound chapter, Paul, the humble servant of the Lord states that love is patient, kind, not rude, jealous, or boastful or proud. Paul writes that love does not rejoice in injustice but in what the truth brings out. Paul concludes this chapter by emphasizing three things that will last forever: faith, hope and love. Moreover, the greatest of these is love. Prayerfully, today, you have the love of God in you that allows you to love others.
