LIVE WELL
I have learned how to live well. I am living a blessed life and I know I am not alone.
I know that some of you have discovered the blessings that come when you put your faith and trust in God. You will live a life, full and complete. Each day is a day that the Lord has made — we should rejoice and be glad in it. No matter what comes our way — sickness, disappointment, or trouble — we can still live well because we havethe peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Our relationship with God allows us to live a wholesome, meaningful life. In John 6:27, we find these words:
Don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man[a] can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval.
Jesus, the Master Teacher, speaks about our ability to live well. He tells His people not to be so concerned about perishable things but spend their energy seeking eternal life that only Jesus can give. In other words, do not spend all your time gathering things that soon pass away, but rather enjoy the blessings that come in knowing that God will give you an eternal life. We brought nothing into this world, and we will take nothing when we leave. So, live each day to the fullest! Live well and give God thanks for each day that He has given!
