Open your heart and let God work in you. Let God get the glory out of your life. Don’t close your heart and shut God out but invite God into your heart and into your life. He can give you the desires of your heart and can use you for His glory. I remember the song, “Lord I’m Available to You.” I ask you today, as I pen these words, are you available to God? Is God able to work through you? We must get ourselves out of the way because He cannot work when we live in the flesh. But when our hearts are open to Him, there are bountiful blessings in our lives. Let God take control. Give Him first place in your life and watch God do some miraculous things. Our scripture reference today is found in Philippians 2:13:

“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.”

Here, we see Paul humbly serve the Lord, writing to fellow believers that he wants them to shine bright for the Lord. He tells them to do everything without complaining and arguing, living life in a way that brings honor to the Lord. In this way, we are blameless and the word that the Lord seeks to do in us is shown. Paul says he is “pouring [his life] out like a liquid offering to God.” Let our lives be so dedicated to God that we do not hold back a single drop.
