As we try to navigate our journey through life, it is essential that we let God show us the way. He knows the way we take. Life is filled with twists and turns and God wants us to walk on the straight and narrow path. Too often, we take detours and move out of God’s will and way. Consequently, we find ourselves in situations of destruction. We must be willing to follow God every step of the way. His love for us will lead us to a prosperous and meaningful life our scripture reference for this devotion is Psalm 32:8 and reads in this manner:

“The Lord says, ‘I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.

I will advise you and watch over you.’”

The Psalmist turns to those who need life’s instructions and urges them to learn the lessons of his mistakes. He is open and transparent as he acknowledges his sins. Notice his confession of unrighteousness and does not hide that there are times when he has gone astray.  As one how has been forgiven, he has learned wise lessons. He does not want to be stubborn, although he was foolish and stubborn at times. I believe that those who are strong in our faith need to share with others how the Lord has changed our lives from sin and shame, we can share how we decided to do it our ways at times. However, we have learned that God’s way is the best way. I pray that every reader will let God show you the way.
