It is one thing to know about Christ. It is completely different to know Christ. Knowing Christ for ourselves makes us love and serve Him. Knowing Christ is acknowledging Him in every aspect of our lives. Can you say today that you know Christ for yourself? If you know that Christ is in your life, you are blessed! In John 5:39, we find these words:

“You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!”

Reading the Bible from cover to cover does not mean that we fully understand the Scriptures. The Scriptures assure us that Christ is indeed in our lives. We should strive daily to study his word so that we may know Him for ourselves.
