The book of Proverbs is so rich! Without a doubt, it is a wonderful guide for daily living. We cannot go wrong when we read and apply this marvelous book. It speaks about all the phases and facets of life: family, friends, riches, integrity, character and passion, just to name a few. Every parent should share this book with his or her child(ren); every married person should share this book with his or her spouse; and everyone should share this book with a friend. It helps us to know that a friend loveth at all times. In Proverbs 27:17, we find these words:

“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”

This verse reminds us that we should associate with people who will have a positive influence on our character. Prayerfully, we have all been blessed with a true friend who has been able to sharpen us and we have all been blessed to be friends to others and have been able to sharpen them.
