IN THE LORD’S CARE
I recently heard someone say, “Don’t focus on what you don’t have. Be thankful for
what you have.” As I thought about those words, I became aware of the knowledge that
we are in God’s care, and therefore there is no need for us to worry about anything. It
should not matter what we do not have. All of us are in God’s care. Whatever we need,
He can supply. We can rejoice today with that knowledge. Nothing can take us out of
this bountiful excellence of His love towards us! He is with us every step of the way.
In Psalm 91:4, find these words:
“He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful
promises are your armor and protection.”
This moving passage of Scripture explains the tender loving care of God. We will find rest and a place of
refuge and safety when we put our trust in Him. God says do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, for He is always with us. I declare that the Lord alone is my refuge, my place of safety, and my God, and in Him do I put all my trust. When you get a chance, read up to verse sixteen in the 91st Psalm, then take a moment and join with me in putting your trust in Him. Give God thanks for how He cares for you!
