God grants gifts to each of us. These are to be used to build up the body of Christ. We each have different gifts but they are all to be used to the glory of God and to edify the body of Christ. Today, I pray that we are using the gifts we have been given. In Romans 1:11, we find these words:

“For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will
help you grow strong in the Lord.”

Paul speaks to his brothers and sisters in Rome. In Ephesians 4:7-16 he explains that spiritual gifts were given to build up, confirm and strengthen fellow believers. It is both a blessing and a privilege that God imparts to us gifts from on high, and as we receive these gifts, they should be used. In verse 12, it says the gifts may be mutually used to encourage each other’s faith. It is my prayer today that we do not boast about our gifts, but we use our gifts for His glory. What a wonderful, gracious God we serve! So gracious that He imparts gifts to us.
