All of us have made mistakes in our lives. Truth be told, each of us have areas of weakness in our lives that need improving, but thanks be to God who give us strength in our weakness. He will provide us the help we need in those areas where we have tried, but we just can’t quite overcome the problem. He will provide us comfort in those areas where we are worn and weary. All we need to do is ask Him sincerely to
help us with our weakness and He will answer our prayer. In Romans 8:26 we find these words:

“And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.”

The writer recognizes that the Holy Spirit is there to help in times of weakness. He indicates that they may not always know what to pray, but the Holy Spirit will lead them on what to say and He will grant them what they need. The writer also tells the people that nothing can separate them from God’s love because God is there for them every step of the way.
