Today’s devotion is in keeping with the devotional from yesterday that was titled, “The Lord will Show You the Way.” Today, we speak with confidence that the Lord knows the way we take. He knows if we are following Him, as well as the right path we each should take. Some of us have taken detours. I pray today that if you need direction, you will allow Him to speak to your heart.  He knows the way we all should take, a way that will lead to a victorious life. Do not make the mistake of leaving the path that is set for us follow. In Jeremiah 29:11,we find these words:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans
for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jeremiah writes this letter to the elders exiled in Babylon. He speaks to the people, encouraging them not to let the prophets and fortunetellers trick them. In verses 9 and 10, he says, “Because they are telling you lies in my name. I have not sent them… You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised….” In the next verse, the Lord says, “For I know the plans I have for you.” When you get a chance read these words. Note that the Lord keeps His promise. Whatever you are dealing with today know that the Lord knows
the way we take.
