Thanks be unto God, that He is right beside us. He is standing there to hold, guide and lead us. All we need to do is to ask Him to stay close so we keep our hearts, minds and entire being before Him. We should put the Lord before us prior to moving in any direction. We should praise Him throughout the night and early in the morning, knowing that He is right beside us to lead us. In Psalm 16:8, we find these words:

“I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.”

The psalmist recognizes his need for the Lord. Walking with the Lord allows him to go on without wavering, slipping or sliding. The Lord warns him of the things that may come his way, and he knows that he has a friend near him all of the time. He has discovered the beauty of the Lord. He says in the ninth verse, that his heart is glad, and his body rests in safety. Prayerfully, we are all secure, knowing that He is right beside us to hold us tightly. Walk by faith and trust, knowing that there is nothing to fear, for He knows the way we take, and He is able and willing to walk with us all of the way.
