HAVE CONFIDENCE
We must always be confident in whatever we do for the Lord. We must have confidence in knowing that we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. We have to believe and trust in God as well as ourselves. We know that God is able to do more than we can even ask for. Having confidence in oneself does not mean that you are arrogant, boastful, or proud. It just means you rely on the power of God to give you the strength to do His work and His will. When you put your trust and faith in Him, He will bring to pass that which is given you to do. Often it is not within our own abilities, but all things are possible in the power of God. In Hebrews 10:35, we find these words:
So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!
The writer makes clear that the confidence we have in God must always be at the heart of all that we do. We must have patience and endurance so that we can continue to do God’s will — then we will be able to see His promises. Throughout this scripture the writer makes a plea for us to preserve ourselves to honor God with sincere hearts, and to trust in the Lord to keep His promise. God keeps His promise, and we need to remember that always. Have confidence in the One who created all things and who can do all things, and can do all things well
