GOOD FRIDAY – BE WILLING TO FORGIVE
On this Good Friday, let us remember how our Lord and Savior suffered on the cross forgiving all who had done harm to Him. While our Lord and Savior was being crucified, He forgave the two criminals on each side of Him. In Luke 23:34, we find these words:
“Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice.”
God has given us the ability to forgive. There is a blessing to be received when we forgive. I constantly encourage others to forgive— forgive a family member, a neighbor, a friend. No matter the situation, forgive! God has forgiven us, so we must be willing to forgive others.
