All of us will have to go through eventually. There is no getting around it. Unfortunately, some burdens we must experience as a part of life. There are trials we have to endure, and cares we must bear. We have to go through. Nevertheless, whatever we go through, know that God can and will bring us through, for we do not go through alone. Turn today, to Isaiah 43:2:
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”
In this passage, we see the amazing power of God displayed. The prophet clearly states that God is aware of the plight of His people. His presence will be with them, and they will not be alone. The people of God are under God’s constant protection. Yahweh, the Holy One, will take them through and there is no need to fear for they are precious in God’s sight. He grants them grace beyond judgment. He does not abandon them in their time of need, assuring them that when they walk through the fire they will not be consumed. He is the Lord, their God, and the Holy One of Israel. Oh! These are wonderful words to hear when we are faced with problems and burdens. God is with us all the way. Whatever you are going through today, know that God is with you and you are not alone. God is there to bring you through and to give you the victory.
