Our Scripture lesson is found in Isaiah 43:2 and it reads in this manner:

“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”

For the second day in a row, this devotion is taken from the book of Isaiah. God reminds the people not to be afraid. We are His children and He made us in His image. When we go through deep waters we need to know that God is with us. There is no difficulty too hard for Him to bring us through. There will be deep waters in this life that all of us will have to go through. They may overwhelm you but God will be there with you every step of the way. Some waters may be deeper than others, but no matter how deep the water gets God, our God, promised to be there with us every step of the way. He will be there in shallow water or in deep water. Praise His name today that God is right there by side! How blessed we are that the Lord our God our Savior. Our promise today is that God is with us. We have the victory. No matter how deep the water we can make it because God, with His powerful right Hand, will hold us and we will not sink. He will save us.
