God’s Sufficient Grace

God is full of grace and mercy; He never runs out. His grace is sufficient for every need in our life —not just some needs, or a portion of our needs, but thanks be unto God, He is able to meet all of our needs. What a blessing it is to know that God’s supply never runs out! In 2 Corinthians 12:9, we find these words:

“Each time He said, ‘My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.’ So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”

What a wonderful blessing to know that His power is made perfect in our weakness! The point of Paul’s weakness became the place of God’s power. The Lord assured Paul that His grace was sufficient. Three times Paul asked for release from his troubles. After recognizing that the power of God was at work, rather than to ask for release again, he began to boast of his weakness. In verse 10, he says, “For when I am weak, then I am strong.” We need to have confidence, today, in the knowledge that His grace is sufficient —it is more than enough! Praise God for His amazing grace!
