It is a wonderful blessing to know that every day we have the assurance of God’s protection. The Word of God is clear in Isaiah 54:17, that “No weapon formed against us shall prosper.” (KJV) We need not fear, no matter what comes our way. With the Lord on our side, we can handle every obstacle that comes in our life. No matter what Satan throws at us, God can turn around that which was meant for evil and turn it into good (Genesis 50:20). In Luke 17:26, we find these words:

“When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day.”

Luke explains that as God was with Noah, so shall He be with us. It’s an assurance that the mighty hand of God will always be with us. In this chapter, Luke mentions Lot as well as Noah; Lot and Noah were frequently referenced as a reminder of what God had done. When you get a chance, read this entire chapter. Prayerfully, we will always stay close to God, because when we do, He will bless us with His protection.
