God knows the plans He has for us. His plans for us are great, and we should always be mindful of that. Some of us tend to make plans for our lives, but these plans have nothing to do with God’s plans. We should always engage God first, so that in all our ways we may acknowledge Him. We should stop and ask ourselves: “Am I following God plans for my life or am I following my own plans?” In Philippians 2:13,we find these words:

“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.”

Paul wants the people to honor God, but he knows that God has a plan for their lives. He told the people do everything without complaining and arguing, also saying, in verses 16 and 17, “Hold firmly to the word of life” because their “faithful service is an offering to God.”  When you get a chance, read this entire chapter. Prayerfully, we will all learn to acknowledge Him in all that we do, so that we will adhere to God’s plans for our lives and not our own.
