What a joy it is to live each day knowing that God has a design for our lives! We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He knows His plans to prosper us (Jeremiah 29:11). We might not always see it, or fully understand it, but the Word of God is clear. In Romans 8:29, we find these words:

“For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstbornamong many brothers and sisters.”

To comprehend these words, we must have a deep relationship with God. The Plan of Salvation is clear. In verse 30, Paul uses words like “predestined, called, and glorified.” Paul does not give every detail, but he makes it clear that God has already designed our lives. He writes in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.” (KJV). Most often, we try to plan our lives without including God. It is much better to live under God’s design for us and experience the real joy of life. God’s ways are true and pure. He knows the way we must take. Let us walk and live in His will as He designed.
