GOD’S ABUNDANCE
Luke 6:38 says, “Give and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full — pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap.” In this chapter, Jesus also says, in verse 37, “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.” He is simply saying, “Trust God’s abundance. As we love others, that love will come back to us. As we give, we will receive, and as we forgive, we will be forgiven.” There is so much truth in these words. This devotion requires us to look at the words found in Luke 6:38 again:
“Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full — pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap.“
It is essential that we, who claim to follow the Lord and His teachings, comply with how He has taught us to live, to forgive, and to give. The Master gave us a blueprint to follow on how to live a life that is pleasing unto Him, and we should rely upon His abundance. His grace and mercy never run out. Prayerfully, today, we have all discovered the rich blessings that come from God’s abundance.
