It is amazing how God blesses our lives. When we put our faith and trust in Him, we are able to see for ourselves how the Lord will increase the blessings in our lives. I know that for myself and, I know that I am not alone. Pause and take time to look back over your life and see how the Lord has provided for you. Some of us had meager beginnings, and God has blessed us bountifully. That ought to cause you to give God praise. In my book that I was blessed to write, It’s Not Where You Start But Where You Finish That Counts” is about God’s increase. So many other believers can tell my story countless times and glorify God. The scripture lesson for this devotion is Colossians 1:9

 “So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.”

In this deep and moving passage, Paul continues to pray with his fellow believers. He asks for increase so they will have wisdom and complete knowledge of God’s will. As increase comes, their lives will produce good and bountiful fruit. Also, as they receive the increase, they will come to know God in a deeper way. Our experiences have helped us to grow. We have gained much through our prayers when seeking God’s wisdom and power. God has poured out His heart into us, and we have witnessed God’s power at work. He has increased our faith, our strength and our lives with good things. Oh, the joys of those who trust the Lord! Our latter days will be better than our former days. All we can say is WOW – Wonderful Opportunities Waiting.
