At times, I write these devotions with a yearning for God to give me clarity about how to express the true meaning of the scriptures I desire not to manipulate God’s words, and pray that my words glorify God and strength to God’s people. Today, I write about God bringing forth justice. We stand as a nation needing justice. We see ungodly things taking place. People are torn apart because we are judged by our skin color and zip code. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. No longer are we one nation under God: but a divided nation. Nevertheless, we cannot lose heart, but trust that God will bring forth justice and right the wrongs in our hearts. Neither political party nor a single individual and accomplish this. Justice will only come forth by God! He has not changed. Isaiah 42:3 is our reference.

“He will not crush the weakest reed or put out a flickering candle. He will bring justice to all who have been wronged.”

The prophet Isaiah has a divine task that requires the endowment of the spirit. He tells the people that God will bring forth justice. God will intervene and faithfully bring forth justice. God’s love for the people will not allow the nation to continue to suffer. They need not be fearful or discouraged, but continue to trust God.  Continue to put your trust in God today and know that God will bring forth justice in His way and time.
