GOD WEIGHS OUR MOTIVES

Sometimes our motives are not aligned with God because we have our own agenda.  Whenever we do something, we should not do it to be seen or win the applause of people. Whatever we do we should be done to the glory of God. If no one acknowledges us, we should be satisfied that we have done it for God. We have all seen people who have become upset when they were not recognized; consequently, they reacted in a mean-spirited and nasty way. When we allow God to guide us, then our fulfillment comes from serving Him. In Proverbs 16:2, we find these words:

“People may be pure in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their motives.”

All our ways will be judged and tested by the Holy One. God himself will bless us. Whatever we do should always be done for God’s glory. There is fulfillment that God gives that humans cannot. Please God, and you will be blessed beyond measure.
