As I was writing this devotion, I thought about what I was sharing with our readers on the thought for today. Every morning on Facebook, I put a Thought for Today as another way to develop a deeper relationship with God. Today’s “Thought for Today” that I am writing about is keep on moving when you are going through a storm. Do not allow the storm to consume you of make you feel defeated. There is light at the end of the tunnel and the storm shall pass. Have faith and trust God who is on our side. Regardless of life’s storms, God is on our side. This devotional scripture reference is Romans 8:31:

“What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”

Paul pens these powerful words. He is confident that God is with us knowing that His power is greater than anyone who is against us.  He has been through storms, but does not speak as one who is defeated. Rather, he speaks as a victorious warrior and knows that suffering will come. He has experienced that himself. He has also experienced the power of God. Paul’s feeling about God’s love is realized over and over again, as he writes these words. He knows that having the Lord in his life is more than any powers that come against him. He is assured of God’s providential care and nothing separates him from God’s love. Disaster cannot interfere with God’s power. Death cannot separate him. Be assured that when you God on your side, you have all that you need.
