We serve a faithful God. Know beyond a shadow of a doubt that because of God’s faithfulness, we can accomplish whatever He calls us to do. We may not always be faithful — let me change that and say we are not always faithful. But praise God today, that He is faithful. Whatever God promises, He will deliver, and we can rest on His promise. In 1Thessalonians 5:24, we find these words:

“God will make this happen, for He who calls you is faithful.

Paul, the faithful servant of the Lord, prays that God will bless the Thessalonian disciples. In previous verses, Paul seeks God’s blessings over the people, that they might be kept blameless until the coming of the Lord. God will faithfully do all that needs to be done to keep those who fully commit themselves to Him. This faithful servant offers his intercessory prayer, which is perhaps the noblest form of prayer. Paul admonishes them to live peacefully with one another, care for the weak, and always try to do good to all people. Never doubt God’s faithfulness for He is always, always faithful to His people
