As the children of the Most High God, we are blessed to know that God is always with us, no matter what trials and troubles we face. No matter how many obstacles come our way, God is with us every step of the way. As pastor, there have been many times in my life when I needed the Lord with me. I have come to understand that whenever you try to do something new and good for the Lord, there will always be doubters. And, to make matters worse, there may even be those who might try to block what you are trying to do. But always remember, the same God who called us to this, is the same God who will be with us through this, so we need not fear. In Exodus 33:14, we find these words:

 “The Lord replied, ‘I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest—everything will be fine for you’.”

In this passage of scripture, Moses has been called by God to lead the people to the promised land. Moses is skeptical, but God continually assures him that He will be with him.  Moses continued to make his case before the Lord, and the Lord responded to Moses, saying, “I will indeed do what you have asked, for I look favorably on you, and I know you by name.” Then, the Lord makes His presence known. When you get a chance, read this entire chapter. Prayerfully, you will have the assurance, as I have, that just as He was with Moses, God is always with us!
