There are many ways to describe God: Sustainer, Provider, Protector, and Comforter are just a few. One thing I know for certain is that God is a healer.  Although we all know that He is a physical healer of the
body, He is also an emotional and spiritual healer of the soul. In Psalm 30:2, we find these words:

“O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health.”

The psalmist expresses his gratitude to God for not only healing him, but also for His endless mercy.  He was on the verge of death and the Lord restored his strength and wellbeing.  I join wholeheartedly with the psalmist in extolling and praising God for His Healing Hands! In many areas of my life, He has been a healer. Not just when I was sick, but when I was troubled, burdened, and broken.  God healed me inside
out in more ways than I can count. Take a moment to think about it.  I’m sure that you will find that He has done the same for you. Whenever we experience sickness, heartaches, trials, or tribulations, we must remember that He healed us before and He will do it again.  Whatever we stand in need of, He will supply.  God is truly a Healer.  Blessed be His Name!
