Prayerfully, you have noticed that over the last several days, we focused upon how God can do all things and we can trust Him completely. Today’s devotion follows that same theme. All we need for this life God has already given to us. His grace is sufficient for all of our needs. His mercies we receive every day for morning-by-morning new mercies are ours. His love never ends. Whatever you need in this life, God has already given unto us. Remember that! Never lose sight of the fact your life’s needs are met each day through Him who loves us and supplies us with what we need. I would argue strongly, He knows our needs better than we do. II Peter 1:3 is our scriptural text today.

 “By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the One who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence.

In this deep and moving passage, it is clear that our God has provided everything necessary to live the good life. He has freely given to each of us all the Godly gifts we need to live holy unto Him. He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. We can become partakers of His divine nature as we seek to draw upon His power. The virtue of God is the energy of God. We have the energy and resources that we need. Praise God today that we can live victorious lives, because we have been given that which we need to give Him glory and honor. May you live a Godly life because of what God has given unto you.
