There are times in our lives when we may become weak. It is at these times that our God will give us the power that we need. That power will help us to endure life’s trials and troubles. God Almighty can renew our strength, all we have to do is ask Him. I know that to be true because of the countless times I have been weak just from trying to do what the Lord asked me to do. It can be overwhelming. I called out
to the Lord, and He refreshed me, and I know I am not alone. I am sure that many of you reading this devotion today can testify that God gives power to the weak. In Isaiah 40:29, we find these words:

He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.

Here in these profound words, the writer makes clear that the Lord will renew those who are weak and weary. Those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint. God never grows weary. When you get a chance, read this entire chapter and know that God can, and will, give us power whenever we are weak.
