GIVE GOD THANKS FOR HIS PRESENCE
In yesterday’s devotion, we spoke about the need to give God praise for everything. We
follow that devotional today with “Give God Thanks for His Presence.” We acknowledge the presence of God in our lives, and we thank Him for never leaving us. He is always there with us and is available any time. Thank God that He is actively present in our lives! He walks with us and talks with us, telling us we are His own. Oh, magnify the Lord with me! Let us exalt His name together, for He is good and His
mercy endureth forever! In Psalm 139:8, we find these words:
“If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there.”
The psalmist indicates that there is nowhere that God is not present. The psalmist goes on to say that he knows that God will guide him and support him, every step of the way. He is thankful to God for this. When you get a chance read this entire chapter. The psalmist acknowledges God, asking God to cleanse
him from anything that he has done that offends Him so that he can live on the path to an everlasting life. Give God praise for being present in your life and ask Him to continue to guide you, every step of the way.
