GIVE AN ACCOUNT OF YOURSELF

Every now and then, we need to take inventory of our lives. God holds us accountable, and we need to hold ourselves accountable to make sure our lives are pleasing to God.  Are we growing spiritually? Are we able to forgive others? What grade would you give yourself today as it relates to stewardship and faithfulness? Each of us should ask ourselves these questions to find out where we are with our
commitments while on this Christian journey. I am thankful that I have been able to forgive because I would not have been able to spread the word of God if I had not done so.   Sometimes, we blame others for things we do and/or have not done, but we must learn to always take full responsibility for our own actions. In Romans 14:12,we find these words:

Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God.

The writer makes clear that we are all accountable to God.  The writer goes on, advising us to stop condemning each other, and to live in such a way that we would not cause another believer to stumble and fall.  We should serve Christ with an attitude of gratitude, and strive to live in harmony, building each other up. The writer also goes on to say not only are we accountable to God, but He also holds us accountable to each other. Read this entire chapter.  We must all stop judging others and become accountable for our own lives.
