We must find time each day to fix our thoughts on things that are true and honorable. This is the way to ensure that we will keep our minds focused on Him. Our minds are always preoccupied with things of the world, but we must set aside some tine, each day, to fix our minds on Him. We must study His Word and pay attention to His teachings. You may be led to forgive someone, or you may be lead to help someone. Fix your mind on things that are true and honest. Know that your thoughts, as well as your actions, will please God. In Philippians 4:8, we find these words:

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”

Paul makes it clear, as he writes these words of encouragement to the people of Philippi, that he wants them to think thoughts that are pleasing to God. He tells them not to worry about anything, to pray about everything, to tell God what they need, and to thank Him for all He has done. This is true for us today. We must pay attention to the teachings found in His Word. He will guide our hearts and minds to live like Christ Jesus. Think of things that are true and honorable unto God. This is my prayer for each of us today, in order that we may all live a blessed life.
