Faithfulness In Prayer
This past July, the Church Without Walls celebrated its 12th year. God has blessed us to be together every morning from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM with people from across the nation. Although many callers have been on from the beginning, there are new callers every day. We thank God for their faithfulness. Many have experienced trials and troubles, the loss of loved ones, sickness; yet they have not stopped praying. We thank almighty God for those who not only know the power of prayer, but who are also consistent in prayer. In Luke 2:37, we find these words:
“Then she lived as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the Temple but stayed there
day and night, worshiping God with fasting and prayer.”
Luke speaks of this 84-year-old widow: an aged prophetess named Anna who did not stop attending the temple, or worshiping and praying. Anna continuously kept her heart intune with God, praising Him with all of her heart, soul, and mind. I pray that we have a heart of worship and that we honor God by worshiping in the sanctuary and fasting faithfully in prayer.
