FAITH PLEASES GOD

Faith is a gift from God —when we operate in faith, it pleases God. Remember what the Word teaches us in 2 Corinthians 5:7, “we live by believing and not by seeing.”  If you want to know how to honor and please God, simply use your faith. Faith is an action word that requires us to do something. The question confronting all of us today derives from whether or not we are using our faith. What good is our faith if it is not exercised? We cannot allow our faith to be dormant; we must put it to work. I trust and pray that your faith is not only at work, but that it will increase as you continue to rely upon it. If we had faith the size of a mustard seed, as mentioned in Matthew 17:20, we could move mountains! In Hebrews 11:6, we find these words:

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”

We read in the 5th verse that Enoch’s faith pleased God and he was taken up to heaven without even dying! And in verse 8 the author speaks of Abraham who left his home to journey to a land that God told him to go. By faith, he obeyed God and went, without knowing where he was going, and successfully reached the land where he lived for the rest of his years.  It is amazing to see how faith pleases
God! Prayerfully, we will all learn to put our faith to work so that God will be pleased.
