Faith As Small As a Mustard Seed
Faith as small as a mustard seed, which is a tiny seed barely visible with the human eye, has power. It can accomplish great and glorious things. The Word tells us “’… if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there … and it will move…” (Matt 17:20). That’s incredible! Just a little faith can heal the sick or open a door that has been closed. Remember, we walk by faith and not by sight. In Luke 17:6 we find these words:
“The Lord answered, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you!”
This scripture speaks about the minute quantity of faith in God needed to accomplish things that seem to be impossible. A tiny seed of faith is all that is needed. The seed must be set in the soil of life and will bring forth power through prayer, the cultivation of that seed and trust in God. Little is much in the Master’s hands. May we all have complete trust in God today and focus on how real our faith is. When it is real, God will bless us.
