Everything God created was good, but human hands have altered things. For example, we are experiencing global warming. This is not of God, but it is a result of man. For a variety of reasons, forests have been destroyed. Trees absorb the carbon dioxide in the air; when cut, that gas is released back into the air. Additionally, we have modernized transportation to the point where cars, trains, trucks, and planes emit gases into the air. These gases trap the sun’s heat and cause global warming.  And look how we have created division amongst the races! This is not of God, either. God created a woman from man’s rib so that we might be joined together.  So let me repeat again – everything God made was good! We are responsible for the damage done. In Genesis 1:21,we find these words:

So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird—each producing offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.

 God created all living things — those in the water, on the land and in the air —blessing them to be fruitful and multiply. In this chapter we also see that God created man and woman, blessing them, as well, to be fruitful and multiply. And God gave us the ability to govern the earth. In Psalm 24:1, we find these words, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it…” This is our Father’s world and everything He created was good.  What a Mighty God we serve!
