Every day that we live is a gift from God, and with that gift, God sends new mercy. Morning by morning, new mercies we see. This day that we are now blessed to see, Tuesday, May 24, 2022, is truly one of God’s great gifts. This is a day that we will never see again. How we use this day expresses our gratitude for the gift that we receive. We can waste it, or we can use it for His Glory. I would argue that many of us have wasted days. Many of us have gifts from God that have never been used. Whatever you do today, make good use of the next 24 hours from God. In Ecclesiastes 3:13, we find these words:

“And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.”

The writer makes it clear that lives are to be lived to the fullest. We are to enjoy the beauty of the day, for these days are gifts from God. The writer makes clear that there is nothing better than being happy. We are to enjoy ourselves so that we might experience the blessings of the Lord. Throughout this chapter, there is an indication that
there is a time for everything. There is a time to plant, and a time to harvest. We should enjoy the fruits of our labor. We need to appreciate the dawning of each new day. Tomorrow is not promised. Live today to its fullest, then thank God for the gift of each new day.
