I am privileged to write this devotion, along with a gifted and anointed servant of God who has come to Bethlehem to continue the work of the kingdom. God’s amazing love and grace has allowed Dominique to be a part of the work of the kingdom here in Bethlehem, and we worked on this devotion together.  I say every morning on the Church Without Walls call, “This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Everyday God blesses us; morning by morning, new mercies are ours to see. Each day we live is a gift from God. When we wake up each morning, we should give God thanks for a new and exciting day. In Psalm 118: 24, we find these words:

 “This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”

The psalmist expresses gratitude to God. The psalmist indicates that he will praise and exalt God. He concludes this Psalm in verse 29 saying, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.”  Prayerfully today, we are grateful for each day, because each day is truly a blessing. This is a day that we will never see again. This is the Lord’s day! Give Him thanks! Give Him praise!
