God has a way of blessing us in ways that blow our minds. He can bless us through the troubles we experience. In fact, when we seek to serve Him and find ourselves in trouble, He will bless us double for our trouble. I know that to be true because we cannot beat God’s giving. The more we give, the more He gives back to us over and over again. Today’s devotion speaks of double for your trouble found in Zechariah 9:12.

Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! Promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.”

We see the hope the Covenant promises for He has made a bond with His people. God has promised to restore the blessings and He cannot forget His Covenant. The people will be victorious. They are not prisoners without hope and God will bless them with double for their trouble. Judah is in battle and will become victorious, for the Lord grants His power to them. They are not alone. Ephraim and Judah will be united again. God will send forth His blessings. Read this chapter and see the way God keeps His promises. He grants them far more than they have lost. May we know that the God we serve will grant to us more than we can ever hope, think or imagine when we put our trust in Him. Yes, it is true, God will grant to us double for our trouble.
