Prayer is essential to every believer. We can never stop praying. Our prayers should be made on a continual basis. We should pray at all times, and never be hesitant to pray. When someone reaches out to us and asks for prayer, we should respond with a willing heart and spirit. When trouble enters our lives, we should immediately pray that the Lord might lead us. Today’s devotion speaks of the need to pray constantly. In Ephesians 3:12, we learn how to pray to the Lord, and the text reads in this manner:

 “In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him.”

In this moving passage, Paul, the humble servant of the Lord, tells us to come to the throne of grace with boldness and confidence. We are to approach the throne of grace with faith. God has given us the ability and freedom to approach Him. We should never feel reluctant to come into His presence. He has granted to us a gracious invitation to enter into His Holy presence and acknowledge Him. The good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ is that God receives those who come to Him and will not turn anyone away. As sinners, we can approach a Holy God. Again, let us never be reluctant to pray, for God hears the prayers of His people and invites us to come. What a glorious invitation! Take advantage of this wonderful invitation and know that God is waiting to hear and answer your prayer.
