DON’T GET WEARY
As believers, we cannot get weary doing the work and the will of the Lord. We must always ask God to renew our strength. This is a long and tedious journey, and we must be renewed every day so that we can finish what we have started. Remember, the race is not given to the swift, but to those who endure to the end. When trying to do good it can become exhausting. But whenever we feel weary, we must remember to go to God and ask Him for strength. In Galatians 6:9, we find these words:
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
Paul is telling the people to remain steadfast and in time they would receive the satisfaction of a job well done. He also urges them to keep on doing good and not to get tired. Whatever opportunity comes our way, we should do good towards everyone. When you get a chance, read this entire chapter. Remember, we reap what we sow. Help somebody! Lift-up somebody! Be kind to somebody! Never stop doing good and blessings will be our reward. Most importantly, don’t get weary!
