CHRIST IS OUR ALL IN ALL
Today’s devotion reveals a blessing far beyond our understanding. To know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Christ is all we need and can do all things and all things well. He is real and working on behalf of His people. There is nothing that we need that Christ cannot supply. There is no burden too hard for Him to carry or sorrow to great for Him to heal. No tear that He cannot wipe away. No problem that He cannot fix. Whatever you need, the Lord can supply that need. The scripture reference is Colossians 3:11.
“In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and He lives in all of us.”
What a powerful scripture! Christ is our all in all. The writer declares that it does not matter whether you are Jew or gentile, black or white, rich or poor, young or old. Christ is our all in all. Paul knows that from personal experience, for once he was outside of Christ. He knows what it means to be set free by the Lord. Paul was renewed in the knowledge and faith of the Lord. He is God’s chosen one. What awesome news that is. Paul lets us know that Black Lives Matter. We matter to God and God loves us. God is all in all to us. No one can ever take that away. So, let us walk with our heads up knowing that we belong to Him. He can supply our every need.
