Today’s devotion raises a deep and profound question, “Can I pass the test of faith?” Our faith will be tested when we go through trials and troubles, but we, as a people of God, must remain strong and depend on God to bring us through. But this is where we have to ask ourselves, “Do I have the faith to endure when I am going through a storm?” If you do not have strong faith in the Lord, you will not pass the test. We must have strong faith in the Lord to pass the test. One day your faith will be tested — make sure that your faith is strong enough to endure the test.  In James 1:12,we find these words:

“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.”

James writes about those who are strong enough in their to faith pass the test.  He goes on to say, “And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, ‘God is tempting me.’ God is never tempted to do wrong, and He never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires These desires give birth to sinful actions.”  In this chapter, James writes about faith and endurance. When our faith is tested, we may be tempted to go astray if our faith is not strong. When you get a chance, read this entire chapter, then stand fast in the Lord! Do not waver! Prayerfully, when our faith is tested, we will have the faith to pass the test.
