CALL ON THE FATHER

It is so good to know that we, as children of God, have a heavenly Father whom we can call on. What a privilege and blessing it is to know that all we must do is call on His name and He will grant our needs! Regardless of race, creed, color, or educational level, we have a Father who cares for us. It doesn’t matter how we were raised; He cares for us. We are not orphans. The Most-High God endows His children with blessings. In Galatians 4:6, we find these words:

“And because we are His children, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, ‘Abba, Father.’”

Paul went through a radical transformation that caused him to receive the love of God. He knew for himself what it meant to be connected to the Father, and he writes to those who were not convinced that they were children of God. He does not want them to live without the knowledge that they have a heavenly Father. It is my prayer today that we all know, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that we are a child of God, and as such, we can call on Him in times of need, distress, trouble or sorrow. That’s all we need to do! Not only will He listen, but our Father will answer us. Reach out to the Father today and thank Him for being adopted into the family.  And call on the Father in time of need – he is there with arms open wide, willing and able to help – all we have to do is ask.
