There is a blessing to receive in believing in Jesus Christ! Let me say that again. There is a blessing to receive in believing in Jesus Christ! Many people are unsure whether or not they believe. But it is so important for us to believe, even though we cannot see what the end is going to be. We walk by faith and not by sight. Satan is cunning, conniving, and full of trickery. He is constantly trying to get us not to believe. If he can succeed, then he has made headway into our lives. He only needs a foothold to pull us down. Thanks be unto God for those of us who can say we believe with all our hearts, souls, and minds! In Luke 1:45 we find these words:

“You are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what he said.“

Here, we see the power of faith at work. Luke writes in verse forty-two, “Elizabeth gave a glad cry and exclaimed to Mary, ‘God has blessed you above all women, and your child is blessed’.” Elizabeth recognized Mary as the future mother of Christ. It is amazing how God uses His people when they believe! There is a blessing to receive in believing! Some of us can testify to the miracles that have come into our lives simply because of our belief. We must continue to believe; ultimately, we will be blessed!
