We receive a blessing when we believe! There are those who are unsure and skeptical. They can’t honestly say that they believe, but is so important for us to believe, even though we may not always be able to see. We walk by faith and not by sight. Satan is cunning, conniving and full of trickery and he tries to get us to doubt. If he is successful, then he will advance further into our lives. He only needs a foothold to cause us to go down. But thanks be unto God for those of us who can say we believe with all of our hearts, souls and minds. In Luke 1:45 we find these words:

“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

We see the power of faith at work. Luke writes in verse 42, “And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, ‘Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.’” Mary visits her pregnant cousin Elizabeth who speaks these words of blessings over Mary and her unborn child. It is amazing how God fulfills His promise to those who believe. Some of us can testify to the miracles that have come into our lives simply because of our belief. With God, nothing is impossible. Continue to believe and ultimately, we will be blessed.
