It is so important that we believe in God’s love. We should know that He loves us! The question is do we really love Him? It makes a difference when you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He loves you unconditionally. It is amazing because Peter said on more than one occasion that He loved the Lord, yet, in times of testing, he walked away. On the other hand, John, the beloved disciple, believed in God’s love so much that he was there all the way to the Cross. In I John 4:16, we find these words:

We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

John knew the deep and profound love of God. He was persuaded to trust in God without any reservations. Prayerfully, today we all know about God’s great love for us. Prayerfully we each have more than a feeling, but we have sound knowledge that no matter what happens in our lives that God’s love is there for us. We are able to rely on Him knowing that His love is ever present. There may be things that we are unsure of, but never doubt that He loves us. Believe in His love!
